Granada, Nicaragua

One of the largest cities in Nicaragua is Granada. It has a bustling food market where you can by rice and spices by the pounds. It is also full of Colonial era buildings and many churches. Despite the heat, Sarah and I wandered around town for 2 days admiring the beauty of the small city. At night the town really comes alive with tons of street performers and street vendors.

Now we are in Masaya checking out the artisan market. Today we will explore the volcano and tomorrow move on to Leon.
